Okay….. So excuse the EXTREME lustfulness of the post. However, it is Man Crush Monday (MCM) which clearly makes it acceptable to shamelessly ogle men socially without fear of being labeled a “cyber whore”. So in honor of closing out Scorpio season for all us celebrating Birthdays October 23rd-Nov 21st, I’ve put together a compilation of November’s 10 sexiest men born on the 8th astrological sign, Scorpio! This is a non judgment zone. LOL. Ladies, thank me later!

It’s been a minute literally and figuratively, but Dallas’ very own are back at it. Native Texas duo, The Mohicans are back in the studio cooking up their second project to be released sometime this summer. To tide fans over until the release of their much awaited 2nd project, The Mohicans have dropped a music video directed by the Nomads for the “Don’t Cut My Tires” track, off their highly praised debut mix tape, Uncas which was produced in entirety by group mate Devan Bernard.
I got a chance to chop it up with The Mohicans, Devan Bernard AKA Kashus Klay, age 25, and Dave Morgan, age 23, and got the 411 for things they got coming up in the near future. This is what they divulged to fans.
“This is only the start, we got a lot more in store for our fans within the next couple of months. New music, more shows, new website launching, so definitely STAY TUNED, and be sure to follow us on our social media outlets such as FB, Twitter etc, to stay in the loop with what we got going on. Fans don’t want to miss out. We’ve been working on our sound, so we’re definitely trying to evolve and show that next level of progression for our fans, without compromising the sound that are fans fell in love with.”
Readers be the judge. [WATCH] music video below, and be sure to LIKE them on FB and follow them on Twitter @MohicanMusic for the latest and greatest Mohican news.
YouTube NS (N*ggerish Shenanigans)

Unless you have been under a rock for the past week or so you had to have seen and or heard about the “uppercut heard ‘round the world”
My college roommate and I were chopping it up on the phone and she mentioned this video of a bus driver hitting a girl. I am positive that EVERYBODY agrees that this concept of the bus driver simply hitting this girl *coughhoodrat* is a severe understatement.
So I YouTube the video and as always I choose the one with the most views. And so it starts… Hoodchick is talking mad foolishness and to give the bus driver credit although he is going back at her he is still maintaining his “composure”. Then Hoodchick in her NS thinking, with obvious disregard to her own life as well as the other passengers on the bus, decides to lunge at the bus driver WHILE THE DAMN BUS IS STILL MOVING! Now there is much confusion as to what she did. Some sites are saying that she attempted to choke him, while others are saying that she hit and spit on him. I am going to use my judgment based on the type of reaction the bus driver had and the fire behind his uppercut that sent her ass flying and say that she must have spit on him! He looked to have been old enough to have been around during the civil rights era… spitting is a no go… the unforgivable ultimate form of disrespect. ::mumbles:: where dey do dat at?!
Bus driver snaps and gives hoodchick an uppercut that not only knocked off her ponytail but also got him an invitation into the UFC! Hahaha! Okay I made that last part up… but her ponytail did fly! I had to watch it a few times as I tried unsuccessfully to describe the power of the uppercut to my friend on the phone. The crazy part is that after the Bus driver literally threw Hoodchick and her belongings off the bus, Hoodchick threw her belongings BACK ON THE BUS and lunged at the Bus driver AGAIN! Cocaine is a helluva drug.
After it’s all said and done now the bus driver has been suspended (fired) because the company feels that (paraphrasing) the whole show was bad customer service. Bahahahaha! I cannot take this entire situation seriously! And just in case you don’t find the video amusing just read the video comments or Google the pictures going viral through various social media outlets!
Until Next Time
I’m not gonna lie. I think I have a wee bit of a girl crush on Supermodel Joan Smalls..Aside from the obvious reasons such as the 24 year old woman is drop dead gorgeous and can werk a catwalk or cover like nobody’s business. This Puerto Rican beauty, who was recently ranked #1 model in the world according to Models. com, is a certified BOSS, and my bad B.I.B.B.(Beautiful Intelligent Boss Businesswoman) pick of the week. Not only is she just a pretty canvas for high end designers all over the globe, but the woman is educated and humble to boot, exhibiting to young women that hard work can take you to plateaus you never imagined.
Joan Small is an inspiration to women of color, and proves the theory to young women that there’s nothing more dangerous than a beautiful woman with a plan. You may have seen her in a Givency show…true. You may have even seen her gracing the covers of Vogue, W ,Victoria’s Secret catalogs, or maybe even the Estee Lauder campaign. Bottom line is, this lady is everywhere and doing her signature strut down runways throughout the world.
Ladies, by no means is Joan Smalls success by happenstance, or did it happen overnight. At 13, Joan Rodriguez AKA Joan Smalls, took a fascination to modeling and set out to make her mark on the world. She began by doing local modeling contest around Puerto Rico, and devoting hours of her time towards researching anything she could on modeling. At 14, Joan’s father funded a venture for her and her sister to travel to NYC and visit modeling agencies. While in NY Joan ran into an agent she had met previously at a contest in Puerto Rico where she was named as a semifinalist. He gave Joan the invaluable advice to get her teeth straightened so she could be marketable.Joan took his advice, got braces, and while her teeth were in the process of being straightened, Joan received her degree in Psychology at a University in Puerto Rico. Upon graduating she moved to NYC, and the rest is history. Joan is a fearless beauty, that proves that when passion meets determination, success is sure to follow. In an excerpt taken from CNN.com, Joan’s mission becomes clear for the casual observer,
“I just want to continue to break barriers and to show the industry and the world that beauty is diverse, and you don’t have to be a certain stereotype to be beautiful,” she said. “When you look at the world, the world isn’t just one palette. It’s a beautiful rainbow, and why not havemeone to represent that rainbow?”

Born Samantha James, known to many by her rap moniker, Na’Tee, this Uptown Nola native may undoubtedly be one of the illest Femcees to grace the mic, but many wouldn’t know due to her unwillingness to conform to the double standards and politics of the male dominated Rap game. That hadn’t stopped the 24-year-old former D girl, who raps about surviving the hardships of growing up to two parents who were addicted to crack cocaine, while having two younger siblings to look after, as her parents dealt drugs and used their resources to feed their habits. At the mere edge of 10, she would experience the loss of losing her father at his own hand, then having to assume the role of sole caretaker of her two younger brothers, while her mother was in and out of their lives. None of these things deterred Na’Tee from becoming popularly known in New Orleans as Na’Tee the Diva, with a reputation for slaying anyone with a full lyrical assault, male or female.
Today, 3D Na’Tee is seeing some of the rewards of her hard work pay off. From a brief displacement period from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, Na’Tee released her first solo mixtape in 2005, named “After The Storm”. In a 2011 interview with The Fader Magazine, Na’Tee speaks about how the destruction that took place in Katrina, changed her outlook on life, and how it gave her the strength to break free of her crime laden lifestyle and focus on her music career. After the success of her debut solo mixtape , Na’Tee dropped other mixtapes such as 3’s Company Vol.1: Da Rapper, Da Hustler, Da Diva, Na’Tee, “Heavy Is The Head, That Wears The Crown”, “Guess Who’s Coming 2 Dinner”, and recently the highly anticipated 5th mixtape, “The Coronation”. Na’ Tee, queen of the BMB movement (Business Minded Bosses) is on the rise. Whether it’s the endorsement of super Producer Timbaland, after Na’Tee released the “Switch” track on “Guess Who’s Coming 2 Dinner”, which was a combination of Timbaland tracks she rapped over, and shot a video where she directed and edited footage. Gaining the respect and a permanent ally in Timbaland, he offered her a production deal with his company, Mosley Music Group. It’s been a long time coming for The Nola Diva. Starting out as an unknown artist peddling her CD’s in club parking lots, and mailing her cd’s free of charge for Myspace friends. The 24 year Raptress is finally getting the shine and buzz she so rightfully deserves. With hits such as No Love, Lil Kim, Goal Digga, from her latest project “The Coronation”. It’s official, Na’Tee is a CERTIFIED spitta. All hail the Queen??
DR readers what do you think?? Check out video for ‘No Love’ off “The Coronation”.
